FPPE
Focused Professional Practice Evaluation is a time-limited, focused review of a practitioner, used for new privileges or when a specific concern arises.
FPPE is a defined, time-limited evaluation that focuses closely on a particular practitioner, commonly applied when someone is granted new privileging or when a concern surfaces about current practice. Unlike the continuous monitoring of OPPE, it targets a specific question over a set period before concluding. Joint Commission standards expect hospitals to use it as part of evaluating practitioner competence.
