The National Committee for Quality Assurance, an accreditation body whose credentialing standards many U.S. health plans and CVOs follow.
NCQA publishes credentialing standards that define how organizations must verify provider credentials and how often they must re-credential. NCQA accreditation signals that an organization meets these quality benchmarks.
