URAC
An independent accreditation organization whose standards some health plans and credentialing entities follow.
URAC is a nonprofit accreditation body that publishes standards across many areas of healthcare, including credentialing programs and the entities that run them. Alongside NCQA, it is one of the recognized frameworks a payer or a CVO may choose to align with to demonstrate that its processes meet accepted quality benchmarks. Holding URAC accreditation can support a delegate's readiness for delegated credentialing arrangements.
